In Honour of Someone Special

Celebrating a birthday, an anniversary, a retirement or simply someone who means the world to you? A tribute gift to the NBSPCA is a meaningful alternative to a gift card — one that saves lives.
We’ll send an acknowledgment card to the person being celebrated, letting them know animals were helped in their honour.

In Memory of Someone You’ve Lost

Whether you’ve lost a person who adored their pets or a beloved animal companion who brought years of joy to your life, a memorial gift creates a lasting legacy of compassion.

When you make a gift in memory of a loved one, we’ll send a personalized acknowledgment card to the family, letting them know a gift has been made in their honour. No dollar amount is shared — only the thoughtfulness of your gesture.

Your thoughtful gift will create miracles for families who are desperately trying to save their own pets. Just like Joseph and Kitty.

Kitty’s Happy Tails Story

Joseph’s cat, Kitty, was dying of bladder stones. Without surgery, he had days left. The Happy Tails Fund — funded entirely by donors — stepped in when Joseph had no other options. Stories like Kitty’s happen because people choose to give in ways that ripple forward.

So profound was Joseph’s gratitude that he later made his own donation to Happy Tails, creating a beautiful circle of giving that started with you.

How To Give

  • Complete the donation form and check ​‘Dedicate this donation.’
  • Choose if you would like to send an e‑card. If yes, you will be prompted on the next page for more information. If you choose ​‘no,’ we will mail a gift acknowledgment card to the recipient.
  • Choose the dedication type.
  • Enter the name of the person being honoured or remembered.
  • On the next page, you can choose the acknowledgement card you’d like to email and enter the recipient’s information and your message.
  • Continue with your donation.
